CircleGab is a community driven platform, intended for our users to connect, share, debate and engage with other users. With this in mind, we have a few guidelines in place to make sure all users feel safe to express themselves.

First things first; Since there is always room to learn and grow, CircleGab works on a strike system. On smaller infractions to these guidelines your account will receive a strike, three strikes and you will be permanently banned from using the service.

 

Here are some ways your account may be given a strike:

• Your account, content or private messages have been reported by other users, and the CircleGab support team have issued the strike on your account for the violation.
• You are a member of a Circle that are in violation of these guidelines.
• You are encouraging other users to violate these guidelines.

 

Example of content that will always receive a strike:

• Pornographic content. Though there is nothing wrong with pornographic content, CircleGab is not the right platform for it. We define pornographic content as content with nudity, sexual acts or implied sexual acts.
• Harassment. We want all users to have a safe and enjoyable experience when using CircleGab, so we expect that you behave accordingly. Though harassment should never occur, we will issue a warning in form of a strike in hopes you manage to correct this behavior. We define harassment as rude or inappropriate content aimed towards other individuals or groups of individuals.

 

Example of content that will result in a permanent suspension:

• Sexual or sexually suggestive content of minors. This type of content is not acceptable on our platform or in general. Attempting to post this kind of content may result in CircleGab reporting you to the proper authorities.
• Bullying. Creating Circles or content to attack other individuals is strictly forbidden. This may includes; attacking individuals for personal features, race, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation, religion, physical illness, mental illness or appearance.
• Violent content. Posting violent content or content that glorifies violence is strictly forbidden. This may include; videos or photos of fights or brawls where individuals or groups of individuals are conducting violence toward others or themselves. Self-harm or content that encourages self-harm. This excludes; Violent sports (i.e. boxing or mixed martial arts) and videos of police brutality or violent government overreach.
• Violations of other users’ privacy. Impersonating other individuals or publishing other individuals personal information is strictly forbidden.
• Violation of our Services. This may include; Attempts to break the services or otherwise attemt to interfere with the normal use of CircleGab. Any attempt on violation of our Services may result in CircleGab reporting you to the proper authorities.

 

Circles you are a part of may have set rules that you are required to follow in order to interact with these Circles. These rules can be found in each Circles Overview and should be followed alongside these guidelines. Moderators of these Circles have the authority to suspend you from the Circle, and are encouraged to report infringements of these guidelines to CircleGab. Circles rules cannot override these guidelines or any terms governing CircleGab.
